The School of Electronics Engineering, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technologies (KIIT), Deemed to be University typically focuses its research and development (R&D) activities on addressing real-world problems and advancing cutting-edge technologies. R&D efforts generally span over thrust areas such as VLSI Design and Embedded System, Signal and Image Processing, Communication Engineering, RF & Microwave, Semiconductor Materials and Devices, Thin Film Photovoltaics, Advanced Control and Instrumentation, often involving interdisciplinary collaboration and sponsored projects. These activities often involve collaborations with industry partners and secure funding from major government funding agencies like SERB(now ANRF), DRDO, BIRAC, DST_FIST, MNRE, etc. Driven by a mission of innovation, the School’s research and development activities, including funded projects and key initiatives, aim to solve complex problems. Faculty and their research scholars generate new scientific information and technology, making significant contributions to a range of emerging research fields.
