The School of Electronics Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, proudly organized Project Expo Kreativity 2.0 on 31st January at Campus 12, celebrating innovation and technological excellence. The event was inaugurated by Prof. Debashis Bandyopadhyay, Pro-Vice Chancellor of KIIT-DU, Prof. A.K. Ray, Director of Academics, and Prof. Suprava Patnaik, Dean of the School of Electronics Engineering, setting an inspiring tone for the day.
The expo saw enthusiastic participation from nearly 250 B.Tech students, who showcased around 90 pioneering projects and prototypes spanning diverse technological domains, including Embedded Systems, IoT, Machine Learning Applications, Underwater Communication, and more. These innovative displays highlighted the interdisciplinary approach embraced by engineering graduates at KIIT-DU. Experts from within the School of Electronics Engineering and other Schools engaged with the participants, providing valuable evaluations and encouragement.
Enhancing the event’s prestige, eminent external judges from renowned industries such as Marquee Semiconductors, MokkoMotto, Institute of Minerals & Materials Technology (IMMT), and the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) critically assessed the projects. Their insights and constructive feedback set valuable learning experiences for the budding innovators.
A unique highlight of Project Expo Kreativity 2.0 was the participation of aspiring engineering students from the neighboring Schools, including Sainik School, DM School, Kendriya Vidyalaya, etc. Their visit added youthful enthusiasm to the event, offering them firsthand exposure to cutting-edge technology and inspiring them toward future scientific and engineering pursuits.
Kreativity 2.0 fostered a creative problem-solving, interdisciplinary collaboration, and technological innovation culture. It also strengthened academia-industry-community engagement, reaffirming KIIT’s commitment to nurturing young minds and driving advancements in science and technology.
