Delighted to share that Team EPD-12 from the School of Electronics Engineering, KIIT – Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (Deemed to be University) has secured 1st place among 70+ teams in the Virtual EV Challenge 2025, hosted by IPG Automotive India, Bosch and Fetch.ai at the ETAuto Electric Mobility Summit 2025, Bangalore.
The challenge tested participants on EV powertrain simulation, energy efficiency, charging strategies, and sustainable innovation – all executed using MATLAB/Simulink and the CarMaker platform.
The winning team members – Hasan Iqbal Khan, Himanshu Singh and Aditya Tiwari – demonstrated technical excellence, mentored by Prof. Ganaraj P S (KIIT DU) and industry expert Naveen Kumar M A and IPG & Bosch team – especially Aurobbindo Lingegowda S, Wasudeo Gurjalwar, Dibakar Mahalanabish, and Jignesh Poojary – for their invaluable guidance and encouragement.
