An Alumni Talk. Was organized by Speaker Mrs.Sonali Nanda delivered an engaging talk on “How to plan for your career in IT or Technology” scheduled in hybrid mode. She is a #GET STUFF DONE Product Leader & Creator who believes in creating an inclusive, high-performance, and innovative culture. Presently she is heading the product org at Exxat, a SaaS product category leader that provides comprehensive & integrated solutions for Healthcare Education management in the United States. More than 100 participants from all branches (ETC, EEE, ECS) of the School of Electronics attended the talk and gained knowledge about the current internship opportunities. The interactive exchange of ideas aimed at enhancing efficiency and career development in Technology was insightful.

An alumni talk titled “How to Be Industry Fit: Upskilling, Resume Building, and Networking.”. Mr. Debadri Dutta, Senior Data Scientist at Pfizer in the Manufacturing Intelligence Team and a 2015-2019 Electronics and Telecommunications graduate from KIIT’s School of Electronics Engineering, was the event’s speaker. Mr. Dutta has 5 years of experience as a data scientist and began his data science adventure with a research internship at IISc Bangalore. He then joined the corporate sector and worked as a data scientist for firms such as ZS Associates and Societe Generale.

The speaker, Mr. Kaustubh Dutta provided an overview of the “Journey of My Master’s, Job Search and how I settled here as a permanent resident in Canada”.He guided the students regarding getting higher studies abroad, job opportunities, etc. He also emphasized the different exams, students need to prepare for if they are going to apply to different universities abroad.
