A hands on workshop on IoT was conducted on 31st January 2026 in KPIT Lab, campus12 on the topic- Introduction to IoT Using BBC Micro:bit. This hands-on workshop introduced students to the fundamentals of the Internet of Things (IoT) using the BBC Micro:bit platform. Participants learnt how to interface light and temperature sensors, acquired real-time data, and transmit it to the cloud via a PC. The session focused on practical implementation, covering sensor data collection, serial communication, and basic cloud integration for data visualization. At the end of the workshop, students built a complete sensor-to-cloud IoT pipeline and gained foundational skills for developing real-world IoT applications.
