On December 19, 2024, an Alumni Talk titled “The Next Chapter: Navigating the Leap from College to Corporate Life” was successfully conducted, featuring Ms. Anwita Chakraborty, having more than 3 years of experience in software development. A proud alumnus of KIIT University (Batch of 2017-2021) with a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, she began her journey with a year-long internship at High Radius, earning a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO). After starting her career at High Radius, she transitioned to QMetry, a dynamic startup, where she honed her technical skills and contributed to innovative solutions. She then advanced her career further, joining Visa as a Senior Software Engineer, where she works on impactful projects in a global payments technology environment.
Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her performance and dedication, receiving accolades such as Best Employee, Woman of the Year, and Quarterly Appreciation Awards. Her professional journey reflects a strong commitment to excellence, adaptability, and continuous growth in the tech industry. The workshop commenced at 09:00 AM and attracted 30 participants, primarily 6th sem Students and faculty members, so they can focus on their career.
