Vikas Kumar Jha

Assistant Professor

Dr. Vikas has received his doctoral degree from Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Department of Atomic Energy, (HBNI-BARC Mumbai), India. In his doctoral research, he has designed and developed Programmable System on Chip (PSoC) based Weld Pattern Analyzer (WPA) system for real-time monitoring of arc welding process. His area of research primarily focuses on Interdisciplinary application of Signal Processing, Embedded system and Charcoal Electronics. Dr. Jha has over six years of teaching/research experience. Currently, he is also working on the project “Charcoal Based Low-Cost Smart Sensor for Agriculture Application” sponsored by the department of agriculture, government of Orissa.

1) MI – KNEE : A Chondroprotective Knee Health Monitring Orthosis For Knee Osteoarthrtis, NIDHI PRAYAS, Dept of Bio Technology, Govt of India; approved on July 2019. 2) Cost Effective Charcoal Sensor for Agriculture: social impact and manpower development: collaborative work with Saraighat Peace Foundation (a registered non-government organization), Assam, India for field tests of the technical prototype and promotion of skill development on the project in rural areas of Assam (Ref: SPF/HQ/RD/1 with effect from October 9, 2018; duration: 2 years).
