Process Control Lab

The main aim of introducing process control lab is to provide idea of automation(PLC/DCS) and different controllers(P,PI,PID) for understanding the characteristics and performance of the level, temperature and flow closed loop system and to give mathematical description and tuning procedure of level, flow, pressure and temperature loops and their application in industry. Recently PLC platform with HMI has been installed through which students can perform different application based experiments like conveyor belt control, temperature control , dc motor speed control and pc based level, pressure, flow, temperature loop stations with air compressor also have been installed though which student can gain their knowledge on controlling variables in real time.
