Dr. Vimal K. Shrivastava

Dr. Vimal K. Shrivastava received the B.E. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai, India, in 2009, the M.Tech. degree from the National Institute of Technology Warangal, India, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree from the National Institute of Technology Raipur, India, in 2016. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Electronics Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, India. His research interests include image processing, remote sensing, machine learning, and deep learning. He received the Best Researcher Award (NESIN 2020), an ISRO RESPOND research grant, and was recognized among Stanford University’s World’s Top 2% Scientists in 2024 and 2025.
