ELabs, the peer learning society of KIIT School of Electronics Engineering, organized a two day learning program under the title “IoTronix: IoT and ML Integration” on 1st and 2nd November 2025 at the School of Electronics Engineering. The program began with an online orientation session on 31st October 2025, which covered the basic requirements and setup of the Arduino IDE along with introductory concepts of IoT to prepare participants for the hands‐on sessions. This was followed by a two day in person workshop on 1st and 2nd November 2025 that provided practical exposure to the Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine Learning (ML) integration, enabling students to understand real time data collection, cloud connectivity, and intelligent automation. The workshop introduced participants to a wide range of microcontrollers including Arduino, ESP32, ESP32‐CAM, and STM32, along with various sensors and actuators. Students explored IoT platforms such as ThingSpeak and Blynk for cloud data visualization and control, while MATLAB was utilized for data analysis and basic model evaluation. Practical sessions guided students through building IoT prototypes and integrating lightweight ML models using Edge Impulse. Projects developed during the sessions included environment monitoring systems, motion activated alert devices, and ML based anomaly detection setups. Each participant gained hands on experience in designing, coding, and deploying functional IoT applications. The workshop was successfully conducted by student mentors of E Labs under the guidance of faculty members from the KIIT School of Electronics Engineering. Their collective efforts ensured a well‐structured and insightful learning experience for all participants. The event concluded with project demonstrations and discussions on future prospects in IoT and ML based innovations.
