Umesh Chandra Samal received his B. E. degree in Electrical Engineering from VSSUT, Sambalpur, India in 2003 and the M. Tech. degree in Electronic System and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, India in 2006. He obtained his Ph. D. degree from the department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, India in February, 2015. He has 3 years of industry and more than 4 years of teaching experience. His area of interest is Signal Processing, Wireless Communication, 4G and 5G wireless communication Technologies, Statistical Signal Processing, Cognitive Radio and Wireless Sensor Networks.
