It is a matter of great pride for the School of Electronics to see Mr. Santrupta Mishra, a third-year student of VLSI & Design and Founder & CEO of GRAPE UAV Pvt. Ltd. Alongside his academic journey, he is pursuing his entrepreneurial vision of developing indigenous technological solutions for critical defence and security challenges. GRAPE UAV has emerged as a notable startup recognised under Startup Odisha, working towards addressing real-world challenges in the defence technology domain.
His entrepreneurial journey has been supported by the faculty fraternity and KIIT NEST, enabling him to transform innovative ideas into patented technological solutions. His efforts have also been recognised through the Startup Odisha Need-Based Assistance Grant. The School of Electronics is pleased to collaborate with him and GRAPE UAV through an Industry Collaborative Doctoral Programme, internship opportunities, joint research, and intellectual and technological collaboration, strengthening the connection between academic expertise and emerging defence technologies.
