The Inauguration Ceremony of the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) Student Branch Chapter (SBC) at the School of Electronics Engineering, KIIT (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar, held on 28th March 2025 from 6:00 PM onwards, marked a significant milestone in strengthening the IEEE student community and expanding technical engagement in the domain of power electronics. Conducted in offline mode at the Auditorium, Old Building, the event witnessed the participation of 30 attendees and was graced by a distinguished panel of guests, including Prof. Atif Iqbal (Fellow IEEE, Vice-Chair, IEEE Qatar Section), Prof. Chinmoy Panigrahi (Vice Chair, IEEE Bhubaneswar Section), Mr. Srinivas Bhaskar (Secretary, IEEE Bhubaneswar Section), Prof. Suprava Patnaik (Dean, School of Electronics Engineering), and Prof. Sarita Nanda (Associate Dean, School of Electronics Engineering).
