The IEEE Invited Technical Talk on “Recent Advances in Reconfigurable Antenna Technologies for Next-Generation Wireless Communication Systems,” organized as part of the IEEE Day Celebration Week (11th–17th October 2025) by the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) Student Branch Chapter at the School of Electronics Engineering, KIIT (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar, was a highly insightful academic event focused on emerging wireless technologies. Conducted on 12th October 2025 (Sunday) from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM in hybrid mode, with physical presence at the Conference Hall, New Building, and online participation via Google Meet, the session ensured wide accessibility and engagement. The talk was delivered by Dr. Nasimuddin, Principal Scientist at the Institute for Infocomm Research, A*STAR Singapore, whose expertise in advanced antenna systems added immense value to the session. With 20 participants, the event maintained an interactive and focused learning environment, encouraging meaningful discussions. The primary objective of the talk was to enhance academic knowledge while fostering social awareness and outreach in the domain of next-generation communication systems.
