Jibendu Sekhar Roy has 21 years of research and teaching experience and 11 years of only research experience. He is a full professor since June 2005. During his teaching career, he taught the subjects, like, discrete and integrated analog circuits, semiconductor devices, electromagnetic theory, antenna & wave propagation, mobile communication, RADAR engineering, microwave engineering, satellite communication system, information theory & coding, antenna theory & techniques. During his research career he worked in ETCE department, Jadavpur University, Calcutta as SRF and as CSIR (Gov. of India) research associate and also in University of Limoges, France as a post-doctoral researcher. He has received his Ph. D. degree from Jadavpur University, Calcutta in 1991 and was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate of CNRS (Gov. of France) in IRCOM, University of Limoges, France from 1991-1993. His areas of research are microstrip antenna, antenna array technology, signal processing applied to smart antenna and wireless communication. He has published more than 200 papers in international journals and symposia. He has guided 45 M. Tech. theses and 9 Ph. D. theses and delivered about 25 invited talks in India and abroad. He has completed a course workshop of about 1 month on modern telecommunication in 1997, organized by ICTP, Trieste, Italy. He has visited France, USA, Italy, Indonesia, Denmark, Czech Republic, South Korea and Russia for paper presentation/invited talk/session chair. He was awarded by senior associateship of ICTP (Trieste, Italy). He is a member of IAENG (International Association of Engineers), life member of ISTE (India), life member of ISCA (India).
