Write-up on the Event:

The IEEE 4 th International Conference on “Applied Electromagnetics, Signal Processing & Communication” (AESPC-2024) was successfully conducted on November 29–30, 2024, at the School of Electronics Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar. The inauguration ceremony was graced by several esteemed dignitaries, including Prof. Amalendu Pattnaik (TPC Chair, AESPC, & Professor, IIT Roorkee), Prof. Arun Kumar Ray (Director Academics, School of Electronics, KIIT DU), Prof. Debatosh Guha (IEEE Fellow, University of Calcutta), Prof. S.R. Samanataray (Professor, IIT Bhubaneswar), Prof. Siew-Kei Lam (Associate Professor, NTU Singapore), Prof. Jyana Ranjan Mohanty (Registrar, KIIT DU), Prof. Saranjit Singh (Vice Chancellor, KIIT DU), Prof. Sudhakar Sahu (Conference Chair, KIIT DU), and Dr. Suprava Pattnaik (Dean, School of Electronics, KIIT DU). In a gesture symbolizing sustainability and progress, the ceremony featured the lighting of the lamp and watering of a plant. The welcome speeches set the tone for a conference dedicated to advancing research and fostering collaboration in the fields of electromagnetics, signal processing, communication, VLSI & Embedded Systems. The program featured offline keynote addresses by prominent experts such as Prof. Debatosh Guha, Prof. S.R. Samanataray, Prof. Siew-Kei Lam, Prof. Amalendu Pattnaik, and Prof. Ganapati Panda (Research Advisor, C.V. Raman Global University). Online sessions were conducted by Prof. Chinmoy Saha (MTT-S SIGHT Chair & Professor, IIST Thiruvananthapuram) and Dr. Ajit Kumar Panda (Vice President, VVDN Technologies). Discussions spanned cutting-edge topics like nanoantennas & metasurface-inspired antennas, renewable energy challenges, advanced communication & signal processing techniques, visual SLAM techniques, and IC design for localized manufacturing and testing. Technical paper presentation sessions covered diverse tracks, including Applied Electromagnetics, Signal Processing, Communication, VLSI, and Cyberphysical Systems, fostering vibrant discussions and impactful knowledge exchange. The success of AESPC-2024 was the result of the relentless efforts of both student and faculty volunteers, led by Prof. Sudhakar Sahu, ensuring the event was executed seamlessly. The conference demonstrated the commitment of KIIT DU and IEEE to nurturing innovation, collaboration, and the advancement of engineering and technology.
